All Sculptures
I work with stainless steel, copper, bronze and found objects. At the Chelsea School of Art in London, I trained as a public artist and therefore much of my work is designed and made for installation in buildings or public spaces.
Wall mounted sculpture using a beautiful, old wooden drawer. There are 28 individually made flower pots using vintage glass chandelier pieces, copper and dice cups.
I have just created and installed a 2m tree made from 2000 Bic biros. It was on display at Adobe's Summer Social event at OXO Tower and now is permanently on display at their London office in Old Street.
I have done three wall mounted pieces that include vintage brass bullet casings. It's poignant to think about what can be done with such a destructive small object. The end results, I hope, are quite powerful.
For the coming 2017 season, I have installed my A to Z hanging installation and four of my Pen Nib Sun Sculptures.
This wall mounted piece with two bunnies is made from vintage maracas, upside down coat hooks and nut crackers.
This bird began it's life when I found the wonderful rakes which look surprisingly like birds feet.
I designed and made two sculptures at both entrances of The Brewery shopping centre, Cheltenham.
Within a clear acrylic box frame, I have created an alphabet of found objects and vintage printing blocks.
I have made many sheep over the years, of various sizes, sometimes used for advertising campaigns, sometimes for exhibition and sometimes to commission.
This wall mounted sculpture was created using a series of found objects that all worked together to make the cat.
It is always what I find that determines what the sculpture becomes and the finding is as interesting to me as the actual making process.
A lot of the sculptures I make are very personal to the client and often the boxes I use are as beautiful as the contents.
I have recently made my first bronze pieces, Sun and Moon are 70cm diameter, in solid bronze and are currently on display at the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden.
